# Leitchfield Animal Shelter

> Leitchfield Animal Shelter is located at 213 William Thomason Byway, Leitchfield, KY 42754.

We are an open intake facility for stray dogs of the City of Leitchfield and Grayson County. We do accept stray cats from Leitchfield City limits, but are not contracted with the county to take county cats. All strays will be adopted out after their 5 day stray hold time is up. Owner surrenders are not accepted at this time. For Animal Control during business hours call 270-230-8839.
