Leitchfield Animal Shelter
Leitchfield Animal Shelter is an open intake facility for stray dogs from the City of Leitchfield and Grayson County. We also accept stray cats from Leitchfield City limits. All strays will be adopted out after their 5-day stray hold time. Owner surrenders are not accepted at this time. For animal control during business hours, call 270-230-8839
We offer walk-in $10 nail trims and $25 microchips.
Please notify us if you have lost or found a pet. People seeking volunteer or community service hours are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
